In His Own Words

 

Chef Richard Toney believes success is based upon one's willingness to sacrifice everything to accomplish the goal and yet knowing the limits of one's abilities before assuming the task. What that means simply is balance.

Chefmaster Suites began as his idea to compensate for a perceived lack of artistically inclined and taste proficient chefs in the industry. In his words, "some chefs can cook... some chefs can design... but few chefs can produce" and production requires the ability to do both.

Chef Richard has defined his career by his experiences which have literally encompassed all forms of foodservice. And, in an effort to distinguish himself, have even stretched to include business management, graphic design, and authoring literature outside of the culinary genre.
